Hobbies/Interests: I love almost all kinds of music, love going to concerts. Going to the gym when I have time, hiking, reading, videogames, huge movie geek. I'm the computer guy for SOAR, so if you see me running around and have a technology question, I can probably help ya out!

Favorite Place on Campus: The Koi Pond behind Faner Hall. It was one of the first interesting places I found while walking around campus my freshman year, I just happened to randomly walk into it.

Best of SIUC: The thing I've enjoyed the most has definitely been watching and cheering on our sports teams, especially basketball and football. I came from a school where we were usually the weak team, always getting beat on by the bigger bully schools, so I really like the fact that I get to be the bully school now that stomps all over everyone else in general. There's such an electricty going through the crowd at our basketball and football games, it's a blast. I've also met a ton of new friends since coming to the campus.

Advice to new students: Don't get nervous, and don't stress out. College is a lot of work, but it's really a much less stressful place than most new students make it out to be. Just do your best to relax, everything else will come fairly easily. Oh, and don't party every night, or you'll regret it very quickly. Don't work yourself to death either though, make sure to take some time for fun as well.
