Best of SIUC: There are so many great things about Southern Illinois University Carbondale that makes us unique. The only university you can come to, to be a Saluki! I have completely fallen in love with the campus. The wide variety of resources for both academic and personal tips to the vast spread of background cultures and ethnicities I've been exposed to as well as the many memories I've made are things that I plan on keeping forever.

Advice to new students: My advice is to stay focused. Enjoy your time here but know your reason for being here. Education is the key to success, a key no one has the power to take from you. Settling for less is not an option and success is earned so hard work does pay off.
