Best of SIUC: For a campus with such a large student body, SIU makes it very easy for students to become involved on campus. There is also a lot of personal attention given to students from professors, no matter how big the class is. The atmosphere of this campus is one that lets you know that the people here love where they are at, and that is an incredible environment to come into.
Advice to new students: Take one thing at a time and try not to let yourself become overwhelmed. Things are never as big of a task as they seem to be. Sit down, take one thing at a time, and you'll learn that it's never as much work as you think it will be.
