Advice to New Students: Get involved early! This is essential to making the most of your college experience! You will get to meet new people who have the same interests as you. GO TO CLASS! Why did you come to college if you aren't going to go to class? This is the time in your life when you are learning to be responsible for yourself. Call your parents! They really want to know how you are doing. Keep them up-to-date as to what is going on in your life. Talk to your professors! They want to see you succeed and they have office hours for a reason! They are there to talk about their lecture, or even just to talk if you need someone.
