Favorite Place on Campus: I have so many favorite places on campus! My favorite place is the swing on the front porch of the Alpha Gam house on Greek Row. It overlooks the lake and is beautiful at night. My second favorite place is the lawn in front between Shryock and Anthony Hall with the fountain and statue of President Morris. It's great in the fall because the trees turn the best colors. It's also a good place for people watching!

Best of SIUC: I'm not really sure how to answer this so here's my best guess.
The best class: In my two years here, my best class has been History 110-20th Century America. Luckily for everyone, it's a core class!
The best weekend activity: When it's warm, I love going to the Spillway to hang out with friends, get some sun, and swim.
The best dining hall: I'm biased but I loved Lentz
The best pizza: Hands down Quatros has the best pizza. It's a little more expensive, but totally worth it.
The best on campus event: SLR Drag Show! I go every time and it's a ton of fun.

Advice to New Students: You'll hear this a thousand times over and over, but GET INVOLVED! I have such a great experience so far because I went to a lot of different campus events. Getting involved with the sorority really helped me meet some of the coolest people SIU has to offer. Don't judge people or situations before you take the chance to understand it. If someone asks you to go to the SLR Drag Show you should just go for the richness of the experience and you might even learn something! Even though you are "on your own", still be responsible. Just because the bus didn't pick you up to go to class doesn't mean that you should skip out. Right now we are turning into adults, just remember that. Make yourself proud of  yourself!
