Interests/Hobbies: I love volunteering and working with other towards a common goal. I love going to the Recreation Center with my sisters and motivating each other to work out. I love my student work job at Disability Support Services, it is like another home for me.
Favorite Place on Campus: Greek Row, I love the location and the house that I live in. We do not have the best facilities but we paint and decorate to make it our home.
Best Memory of SIU: Donating money to a foundation for women with breast cancer and dying my hair pink. I attended the basketball game with all of my sisters and it felt so good to donate to such inspiring women!
Why did you choose SIUC? Never before did I feel so comfortable meeting new students. I loved that the people I met were so caring and eager to meet me. I felt right at home from the moment I saw the rolling hills of Southern Illinois and the beautiful campus.
Advice to new students: GET INVOLVED! Even if you are unsure about anything, meet others and join organizations! I have learned so much about myself and have become a confident leader on campus.
