Favorite Place on Campus: The outside seating area between Neckers and the Student Center
Best Memory of SIU: I have enjoyed attending guest lectures here on campus, including Maya Angelou, Joan Higginbotham and Cornel West.
Why did you choose SIUC? I chose SIUC because it was the furthest I could get away from home and still pay in-state tuition. I also had friends at SIUC and I am very fond of the campus.
Advice to new students: Be knowledgeable about the resources that are available to students. Keep a very open mind and view every experiences as a learning opportunity. Get the most out of college by being a well rounded student.
